We believe that God speaks to his people through his word the Bible. At every service we have a short Bible reading and then reflect on it to try to discern what the Spirit of God is saying to us. The sermons are sometimes recorded. The texts of the sermons are available by email.

OUR TASK IN PREACHING IS TO:

1. Present the good news about Jesus clearly, truthfully and attractively
2. Challenge and enable people to grow in their discipleship
3. Explain and connect God’s word with everyday life coherently and memorably
4. Motivate people to commit themselves to deepening relationships
5. Help people to discern God’s purpose for their lives and equip them to serve

THAT EACH PERSON:

1. Is brought into relationship with God in Christ
2. Is inspired to deepen their discipleship and commitment to God
3. Develops committed, loving, relationships within the Church
4. Has a growing self-awareness of their gifting and calling in Christ
5. Is equipped and motivated to serve Christ in the Church and World
