Les Feuilles D'Automne  by Poulenc

"This concert is quite a prestigious one for Broadstone Music Series. The wind quintet members are all the principles of the woodwind sections of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, joined on clarinet by Marina Finnimore who is an ex local girl now playing in the orchestra of The Royal Opera House. David Hill, the well known conductor, choir master and organist, will be the pianist so it is a wonderful line-up.  The Poulenc has been selected for this concert in order to celebrate 120 years since his birth. It is rarely performed, but it’s a really exciting piece of music.”

The poster below gives details of how to apply for tickets in advance, although there will be tickets on the door too. They include a glass of wine or soft drink.

Funds raised will go to support learning and performance skill development of young musicians in our local area.
